Please join Law Enforcement Officers Weekend and The Blue Knights Chapter X on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, for the Third Annual Ride 4 Remembrance. Hundreds of motorcycles and escort vehicles will ride over 56 miles from Lido Beach, New York to Smith Point Park in Suffolk County, in honor and remembrance of all Law Enforcement Officers who we’ve lost. Line of duty deaths, suicide, illness or other, we ride in their memory to show our love and support for our blue family!
The opening ceremony at Point Lookout Town Park (9/11 Memorial) will commence at 11am sharp. The ceremony will consist of public speakers, an opening prayer, National Anthem, Pipes & Drums, and a PBA Canteen with light refreshments. The Ride 4 Remembrance will commence at 12pm sharp, following the conclusion of the opening ceremony.
Active and retired law enforcement officers, families, friends and law enforcement supporters are highly encouraged to attend the ride and Remembrance Ceremony & Party at Tiki Joe’s, located inside Smith Point Park! Please show your support by flying Thin Blue Line & American Flags (small flags affixed appropriately to your bike), wearing law enforcement apparel or displaying the name/photo of your loved one you’re riding in remembrance for on your bike. Please refrain from wearing or displaying any political flags or clothing, as this event is strictly to remember and honor our fallen brothers and sisters.
