Zachary B. Grunther
VICE PRESIDENT
In 2008, Zach started his public safety career as a volunteer firefighter on Long Island, New York. He has been an active member of the fire service and has held multiple positions, including the rank of Captain. Zach is also a certified Fire Instructor for the State of New York and teaches many courses to local fire departments. In 2008 Zach worked for the City of Long Beach Police Department as a Special Police Officer assigned to the city parks. Currently a member of the Long Island Surgeons Lodge Fraternal Order of Police, and serving as the Sgt At Arms, Zach has always been a huge supporter of law enforcement. Additionally, Zach holds multiple certifications and corporate positions within the field of OSHA and site safety.
In 2016, Zach joined the LEO Weekend team as Director of Public Relations and was quickly promoted to Director of Operations, followed by his current position as Vice President. “The LEO Weeknd team is a big family from a diverse background. Seeing the faces and smiles from the families we bring to our weekend events makes me feel great! Knowing that all of our hard work and dedication is truly paying off when we see those smiles… it’s the only paycheck we’ll ever need.”
