Below are testimonials we’ve received from our LEO Weekend Families & Attendees:
My family attended the 2019 LEO Weekend in Lake George. It was so nice to see my wife and daughters smile, laugh and even dance again! This was a truly wonderful experience! The LEO staff really makes you feel like family. We definitely plan to attend again!

We would like to thank Law Enforcement Officers Weekend for their support, not only to us but to all LOD families. Our family was honored to be their guests for their 3rd Annual Lake George Weekend. Although the organization is only three years old, Austin and his team have accomplished so much and have great dreams for the upcoming years. Recognizing the members of each family is a huge impact for the organization. This was especially felt by my daughter and her family who were able to attend. Keep up the great work! You have the support from my family.

I am so appreciative of the amazing experience Austin Glickman gave me and my siblings. Ever since our dear mother, Detective Miosotis Familia, was shot and killed in the line of duty two years ago, we have been living in the horrible reality of not having our mom around and the heartbreaking agony and pain surrounding her death. LEO Weekend gave my younger brother and sister a chance to be carefree kids again where their only worry was which activity they were going to do next. We will never forget the wonderful time we had in Lake George for LEO Weekend and the short relief it gave us from the devastating emotional trauma we endure everyday.

I would like to give my most sincere gratitude to all who were part of the Law Enforcement Week in New York. Though, it is always difficult to think of my husband without any sense of sadness or wishing I can go back in time, your support has given my children and I comfort during this tough time. We were all gathered there because we lost our loved one. Yet, we were all there for each other supporting one another. It was a nice experience to connect with other wives/mothers whom unfortunately have felt the same loss yet have to continue pushing forward for our children. My children had a great time with other children as well. It was amazing how everyone had a role and we were together to honor our loved one, connect, play with the children, and enjoy various activities. Special thanks to Austin Glickman, for taking my children and I sightseeing. I truly appreciate him taking the time to be with us and to show us so much support, it really makes a difference during this difficult time. Everyone involved really made us feel like a big family! The reality is no words could ever express our appreciation for the love and support you have shown to us after the passing of my husband, Samuel Jimenez. We are deeply grateful.

I really appreciate Austin for his great work providing this weekend getaway for the families of fallen officers. We were impressed by how everyone was so friendly and supportive. The memorial was very touching. A great tribute to their service to our country. Thank You LEO Weekend!

We are your ordinary NYPD family dealing with some extraordinary circumstances. My husband Anthony has been on the job 17yrs and is a Detective with Queens Transit Robbery Squad.

February 28, 2016 is the day our lives changed forever- our middle daughter went from being your typical teen to someone facing chronic kidney disease. She was diagnosed with a rare disease called FSGS or Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis. The kidney filters are being damaged by excessive protein. This can lead to kidney failure and transplant.
Meeting Austin, Founder of LEO Weekend literally changed our lives. His generosity in bringing our family up to LEO Weekend is something our family can never repay. We got to spend an amazing weekend in Lake George, NY, together. No hospitals, no doctors visits, just family time with our Blue and Blood families. The Weekend brought us something we had not had in years, peace. Thank you LEO Weekend and Austin Glickman for this priceless gift.
